GREEN HOUSE is an installation that explores the connections between space, light and sound in an interactive environment. This project is part of a research into the creation and delivery of interactive installations by Karolina Spyrou, Danial Thatcher, Thomas Williams and Francesc Serra Vila.
In GREEN HOSE, people are invited to enter a netted dome made from 2000 balloons. Inside, and with a light sensor, they will experience both a changeable tactile space and an immersive soundscape reactive to their movement. We are inspired by the potential of new technologies and multi-sensory spaces. By combining both a strong visual and tangible environment with a changeable sound world, we create an experience that innovatively welcomes the audience to explore and be aware of the impact of their actions on a space.
